 The Rhythm of Nature

One of the worst things that can happen to a human being is to get stuck. Stuck in a way of thinking. Stuck in a way of behaving. Stuck in a way of feeling. To be stuck is to be still, and stillness does not represent life force. Life force is expressed through motion and emotion. Movement. Rhythm. People focus too much on being stuck to the things that they find comfortable. As humans, we suffer from our habits. The more we experience things, the more we get used to them. As we get used to them, we get comfortable. As we get comfortable, we get stuck to one side of the spectrum or the other. The pendulum swings to one side and we try to desperately to hold it there with all our might. Straining ourselves against the natural rhythm of nature. Although, this does not mean that one should seek balance in the center either. To hold your position in the center between  the two spectrums also insinuates stillness, being stuck. Staying in the middle is just as bad as staying on either side. The ultimate goal is not to maintain balance in the middle or on either side of the spectrum, but to master the rhythm of swinging back and forth constantly. Learning how to swim with the current of nature, learning how to fly with the wind of nature. And to fully experience every aspect of it once it presents itself before you. Life is not about having the static strength to hold your position, it is about having the flexibility, fluidity, and rhythm to move as life moves. Not missing a beat, and going with the flow.
